Tranquil waters and peaceful skies, sun rays filtering through the clouds, shadows on a sun-lit porch, or a favorite pet closing its eyes in happiness, all are excuses for Annie's expression of love for the luminescent and the unusual. Born in Belgium, Annie studied Fine Arts and Graphic Design. Her husband's job responsibilities brought her several years ago to the USA, and while raising their two children she has constantly been involved in the Art World, either through employment or by studying different media that would help her express her feelings In the past, she has re-created family coat of arms, worked with a cartoonist, painted scenery, created stained-glass windows, decorated houses, worked as an art director in a printing company ... to name a few occupations. She searches brilliant skies and waterscapes, quiet corners, happy moments frozen in time, in a word, anything that will sooth the soul. Her inspiration comes from the heart, and a need to see the positive side of every thing and every being. Annie was a member of the Maitland Art Center (Florida) for 15 years, where she found a wonderful mentor, Barbara Tiffany, who helped her develop her style that is still constantly evolving! Now living in Massachusetts, Annie is a member of the Springfield Art League and one of the founders of the Belchertown Art Center. She has participated in juried and small group shows throughout Florida and Massachusetts and continues to do so. Her work has been acquired by several corporations, it can also be seen at Arts Unlimited Art Gallery in South Hadley as well as in her Easthampton studio.
